LoopCast turns your run into a vertical video: a 3D flight along the route, and every clip you shot on the way shows up at its spot. Ready for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.
There are plenty of flyover videos of a route. LoopCast also puts your own footage at the spot where you filmed it: the view from the dyke at kilometre 3, the finish at kilometre 10.
All that counts is the recording time. LoopCast lines it up with your run’s timestamps and so knows where you were. Videos without location data work just as well, and clips from just before the start or after the finish go at the beginning or the end.
Straight from Apple Health, no export needed. Health provides the route as location data. If the run lives elsewhere, just open a GPX file.
Pick the videos you shot on the way. The music plays under the whole video and gets quieter whenever a clip plays, so you hear the clip.
Choose map style, length and resolution, done. 25 to 35 seconds works well for Reels and Shorts, both take up to 3 minutes.
For Satellite, LoopCast uses the orthophotos of the national mapping agencies: from all 16 German states, Austria and Switzerland. Before rendering, the app checks which source your route needs, even across a border. In a forest you see the difference at once.
Every style runs on open data whose licence explicitly allows you to share the video. The credit sits small at the bottom left of the picture.
The first and last 250 m are hidden in the video, and the camera doesn’t fly there either, or the address would still show on the aerial image. Distance, time and pace stay those of the whole run. For a race you turn it off with one tap.
No upload, no server, no queue. Your clips never leave the phone, and because every video is made on the device, there’s no cap on how many you make.
Prices include VAT and are billed through your Apple Account. You can try the yearly plan free for 7 days; cancel before then and you pay nothing. In Switzerland and other countries the App Store shows the price in local currency, for example in CHF.
