Which iPhones are supported?

LoopCast runs on iPhone from iOS 26, which means from iPhone 11 and iPhone SE (2nd generation). There is no iPad version.

My run doesn’t show up.

From Apple Health, only workouts with a saved route appear. Also check that LoopCast has access: in the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps and LoopCast. If the run isn’t in Health, open a GPX file instead, for example from Strava, Garmin Connect or Komoot.

A clip is in the wrong place or missing.

LoopCast places each clip on the route by its recording time, not by GPS. Clips from up to 5 minutes before the start or after the finish go at the beginning or the end; anything earlier or later is left out. Videos forwarded through a messenger often lose their original recording time.

Why can’t I see the start and finish?

So nobody sees where you live, LoopCast hides the first and last 250 m. Clips from that stretch are left out too. You can turn this off in step two, just above the clips.

I can’t choose Satellite or Topo.

Both styles use official aerial imagery and maps, so they’re available for runs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Dark and Light work everywhere.

The video takes a while.

For the first video of an area the app loads the map images for the route; with Satellite that can take a few minutes depending on the region. Keep the app open until the video is done. Further videos of the same area are faster.

A video stopped.

The app then shows a line saying how far it got and how much memory was free. Email it to us. Often it’s enough to free up some space on the iPhone or to make the video in 1080p instead of 4K.

How do I cancel a subscription or get a refund?

Purchases and subscriptions go through Apple. You can cancel in the iPhone Settings: tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. You request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What happens to my data?

Your workout data, clips and videos stay on your iPhone. The details are in the privacy policy.
